Do PARANORMAL HANGOVERS Exist?

I was asked by David Barrett to run a poll to see if other investigators have ever suffered, from what some call the ‘PARANORMAL HANGOVER’.

The poll results was that 58% of 300 people who voted said yes they had suffered from a Paranormal Hangover at some point in their years of investigating.

If you havent ever experienced one, lucky you, it feels as though you have been partying and have consume alcohol in its masses when simply all you have done is gone to a dark and spooky location, spent hours calling out to nobody that the eye can see and have probably consumed your monthly allowance of snacks and coffee in just 6 hours!

Symptoms of a paranormal hangover often include tiredness, headache and feeling very drained.

There is two theories to why a investigation may make us feel like this

The Practical Appoach!

Enviroment- Some of the locations we investigate the environment may impact on how we feel after spending quite a few hours there, for example envirnoments with high EMF levels, molds/mildrews, chemicals, carbon monoxide and infrasound. All these can produce an affect on our body if we are expose to them for a good amount of hours. A common side effect of all being exposed to all of these is a intense headache.

Lack of sleep – You may think this dont include you if you are a bad sleeper anyway, but if you havent had a good nights sleep the night before the adrenaline rush that most of us experience before a investigation is only going to drain your energy levels further.

Energy Drinks and coffee – These are the most popular drinks to have on an investigation, the aim to consuming it is so it keeps you awake, but what happens when you have a caffeine or sugar crash? your body feels terrible and sluggish!

As mentioned above Adrenaline Rush – We all get excited before a investigation and the come down of this can make you feel pretty rough. As investigators we are putting all our concentration and senses to the test, its bound to have a impact on us somehow by the end of the night. A adrenaline rush come down may also mean when you do come back from a investigation you may not be able to sleep, this is because you need time to unwind and take in what events have occurred.

Spiritual

The Energy Drain – Many believe that a active haunting can affect how we may feel the day after. Spirits or entities may pull on our energy to manifest or communicate with us in some way.

Many believe that our energy for spirit is the greatest energy over any operated battery device, therefore if we are being drained of such energy it sure isnt going to make us feel great.

Tips to prevent

White light protection
Having breaks, having snacks and keeping well hyrated.

TIPS TO CURE

I havent tried them so cant say if they work but sites recommend!

  • HAVE A SALT BATH OR VISUALIZE WASHING AWAY NEGATIVE ENERGY
  • EXERCISE (A BREIF WALK OR SWIM)
  • GROUND YOURSELF BY WALKING AROUND BAREFOOT
  • REHYDRATE
  • TURN OFF ALL YOUR GADGETS
  • EAT FRESH FOODS

  1. Is this bullshit? But my name is Robyn. First time I drank so hard, my mom and younger bro’s were sleeping with her. I was really hung. My tv was on, I couldn’t move, I heard a lil kid crying, I knew it wasn’t my bro’s cuz it sounded like a lil girl. it was sleep paralysis, I tried calling my mothers name, but i still couldn’t move off my bed, something or someone held me from behind. I started screaming so hard. I ran to my mothers roo , I told her all about it, she told me to sleep with a bible. Lol but it did help
