Some people can find Mannequin’s quite creepy to look at, especially at night anyway, but if your venture the streets of Chihuahua in Mexico, then you may just past the alleged haunted mannequin named La Pascualita here.

This creepy looking mannequin has stood on display in a store window for over 80 years and made its storefront debut in 1930 on March the 25th and became an instant hit with the locals.

According to local legend, this impressive mannequin isn’t a mannequin many believe it is a perfectly preserved corpse of the previous owner’s daughter…

Many of the locals did not realize that the female shop owner had recently lost her daughter in a wedding day incident, sadly she was bitten by a black widow spider hours before she was due to wed her partner. People within the town found out about her tragically deceased daughter and started to believe that this mannequin was not a mannequin at all and some even thought it looked like her!

The shop owner claimed that the object had been made in honour of her dead daughter because she was heartbroken as she missed her terribly, but this still didn’t convince locals.

Soon after this, many strange stories started to surface involving the shop and its owners.

The husband of the shop owner claimed that when he re-entered the shop at night time, the mannequin would start to talk back to him.

Locals reported that he was seen dancing with the mannequin in full flow around the shop’s ground floor and people also began to notice that the creepy shop display would change positions with no one near it. There were also reports of her eye’s changing direction to look right at passing onlookers.

Her features appear Human like.

Sonia Burciaga, who works in the shop to this current day stated:

Every time I go near Pascualita my hands break out in a sweat. Her hands are very realistic and she even has varicose veins on her legs. I believe she’s a real person.”
