Cats Purr | A Healing Sound

It is believed that certain frequencies or tones of sound can have varying healing effects on the body.

For centuries, healers have been using frequency to help heal people and animals. The theory is that different sound tone can heal different healing effects on the body.

The Cat Purr

Nobody is really sure why a Cat purrs, However, it is known that cats often purr when they are happy, sometimes when they’re nervous, very often when they’re hurt, and sometimes when their human is hurt or sick.

The Cat Purr has been shown to fall between 25 and 140 Hz. The same frequency has been shown to aid in the healing of broken bones, joint and tendon repair, and wound healing. Cats do tend to heal quicker when they have own broken bones and joint problems.

Purring releases endorphins in cats, and it can do the same thing in humans, too. A cats purr is thought to Lowered stress hormones are helpful for healing, lowering blood pressure, and helping people cope with illness, too.

If your a cat owner, it is thought that you are 40% less at risk of having a heart attack because of your furry friendspurr.

Clinical observations of cats that are suffering from upper respiratory conditions resulting in dyspnea, or trouble breathing, indicate that purring helps the cat breathe more easily and it is believed to do the same in humans too.

If you cat sits on your chest purring away, let them they could he trying to help you more than you realise.

Many people believe by being nearby your cat when they are purring it can also help us humans heal because of the frequency of the cat purr is being projected out into the environment for us to hear.

There are many stories online of people with migraines whose headaches are eased or extinguished when they lie with their heads close to purring cats.
